Knoppix live cd. anyone have it working?

I tried to run Knoppix live cd on my laptop and desktop. Both got to the boot page with the logo and failed.

Has anyone got it working?

Yeah, I use it all the time. It's compressed though so every bit counts. Verify that your burn came out right, and that the checksum on the iso you downloaded matches the checksum at the ftp site you got it from.

I had a bad ISO a while back - even re-downloaded it. Wouldn't burn. I downloaded it again a few weeks ago - worked fine. Like teknomage said, checksum it, or try from a different site.
