Newbie Site ?

I just found this site tonight. I thought it was a site for newbies, but looking at what the "King of the Java Forum" has been posting, it does not look like a newbie site to me. Am I wrong? Granted I am an old time programmer..1980's who updating his knowlege base, but what he has posted isn't what I would call "newbie" subject matter. Please let me know so I know wether this is a site I need to be visiting.

our members usually have an area or 2 of expertise and are definately capable of answering some pretty high-end questions, .. however, we want to fully make newbies feel comfortable answering newbie questions too.

i've learned a lot and helped out a lot here too. i think it's for everyone.. don't let the domain name make you hold back from asking a heavy question
