Java Developer Position in Kansas City

Nash Resources Group currently has 6 java application developer positions available, these positions are ready to go immediately. These are contracted positions with length not determined at this time.

The applicant should have 5+ years (2+ for junior developers) experience with object-oriented programming using JAVA technologies. The must have experience with Model View Control (such as Struts), the use of design patterns, and an emphasis on n-tier architecture. The ideal candidate will have experience with Oracle Portal, Oracle Internet Directory, Oracle Single Signon Server and Oracle TopLink. Design experience with Unified Modeling Language is a plus. The candidate should be capable of teaching other team members in the use and best practices concerning JAVA technologies.

Essential Knowledge-
Object Relational Mapping Techniques, Object Oriented Programming Techniques, Full Lifecycle Development

Essential Education:
BS in Computer Science or related area

Essential Skills:
JAVA, JSP Servlet, JDBC, J2EE, HTML, XML, SQL

Organizational Fit Considerations:
Integrated Client Environment. Must demonstrate good communication skills and the ability to work well with others. Standard workweek is 44 hours. Limited travel.
