submitting form problems

Hey,

I have created a form with 3 text boxes for the name, email address and details. These boxes have been called name, email and details. The form has been made so that all three and needed otherwise a error message pops up. The problem is I cant manage to send all the details to an email address when i press the submit button. Everyone i click the submit button it opens up an outlook message with my email address already filled out but i want the details entered into the 3 boxes to be submitted to my email address when it is submitted.
Any ideas? Im really stuck on this one!!

Cheers for your help

sounds like a job for server-side technology,... like php, jsp, or asp. i don't think you can target text to the body of an outlook client.. i'm not sure on that though. you gotta remember that not everyone uses outlook, and some people may just use webmail, so it's not always going to behave how you want it.

if you look into using something like php, you can submit the web form to a php page that can process the email exactly how you want to. it will behave the same no matter what email client the end user has.
