Since the rest of us aren't jedis, can you show us your code?

If you're using firefox see if the JavaScript Console (in the Tools menu) reports any errors.

Yeah FireFox + http://chrispederick.com/work/firefox/webdeveloper/ should be all you need to find the bug.

not using firefox as my web browser( even thouogh i should).

the problem is in my regular IE/AOL broswer..

for example:

i go to www.greyhound.com...click "USA"...then click "locations by state"

at this point i hear the click but nothing happens..i know from other times, another window would open..but not anymore...get this display in the lower bottom corner ...." javascript: SpecialEventWin('/locations/locations.asp?PrinterFriendly=true','620','420') "

i think you just answered your own question

really though, download Firefox and try it out: http://mozilla.org/firefox/

It's a lot more secure and just all around better than IE or AOL web browsers. You will thank us later.

Other than a new browser, I can only recomend you make sure javascript is enabled in your IE settings.

Maybe you can re-install IE by going to windows->control panel->add/remove programs->windows components.. first uncheck ie, and let it run, then go back and check ie and install it again.

did I mention downlod Firefox?

Are you sure it's not your popup blocker which is keeping the window hidden ? In my firefox theres no problem what so ever.
Altho I am getting:
Quote:
Error: do_an_e is not defined
Source File: http://codenewbie.com/forum/clientsc...lletin_menu.js
Line: 115
But I bet thats not orriginating from the greyhound site.

I'm running FF 1.0.2 on debian testing, could be something in their compile.
