Site size based on screen

I am in middle of making a website. The pages are a fixed size so that if your monitor is that size it looks great and if not then it doesn't. How can I code it so that it sizes the page based on the monitor of the person viewing it? Isn't there a way to do this is Javascript? How? Can someone please direct me or help me out?

Thanks!
