Question 1: Hi! Can you give me a script that can search my website and a script for the result.html

Question 2: Some of my website viewers complaining that they cannot see the re-uploaded pages. they are only able to view old pages. and I have checked this in my pc too. except the server all the pc's on my network is showing the old files. I have cleared cookies and cache too. but nothing happened. But there is one more thing. the counter on the index.html goes counting everyime I refresh the page. Can you help me to solve this problem.

1. no, but i'll try to help if you have specific questions about making one

ok .. actually you'll probably need a server-side language to do this ( like php ) .. then again, i think google offers a site search feature .. you may want to look into that.

Well this did not help me out. I tried using the script you have given, but did not work for me. any more ideas????
Acctually the page gets refreshed but the content on the page remains the same as old page. The changes I made did not show up in my network.

is it more than just your computer that is doing this? have you tried clearing your cache manually and checking if the page content updates? does it update if you close your browser and re-open it?

how exactly are you updating the content on your website anyway? do you mean uploading a new html file?

it's a lot easier to help when you give very specific details.

Well i hace cleared cache and cookies too. but nothing happened.
And the upload means, I overwrite the pages (htm).

I used my head like this.

we troubleshot in chat a bit .. we think he was uploading to the wrong directory. he'll post what he finds out.
