Uml

We should have a forum for UML (Unified Modaling Language). I don't think I have seen a forum anywhere for this.

Just a thought...I could moderate this forum as well..I don't claim to be an expert, but I could answer most questions and I could probably write some tutorials on how to diagram UML.

what i first learned about 'the uml' , i was fascinated. it turns out that i like bits and pieces of the organization, but some things go a little overboard ( just for me ) ..

i think having a forum just for the uml wouldn't get much use, .. but what if we create a forum and name it like 'Coding Practices' ?

maybe i'm way off, .. but we have seriously discussed the problem of having too many categories and we must choose new ones wisely.

how about adding it with my idea about software Engineering/Design since UML is used with software engineering.

hmm .. it looks like i'm going to have to create a new category? i don't think this would fit into any of the current categories.

any ideas for the EXACT category and forum name?

This is definitely a good idea, go for it. Not UML specific (I desipse UML for the most part), but a coding practices / design methodology forum would be a great addition.

Personally, I find the XP style of development is far more productive.
