Code tags

I've noticed that the code tag seems to always include an extra carriage-return at the end, and it's kinda annoying for short one or two line snippets.

Example as compared to quote:

Quote:

The Quick Brown Fox Jumps Over The Lazy Dog

Code:

The Quick Brown Fox Jumps Over The Lazy Dog

Any chance that trailing carriage return could get removed?
