post indicators
i dont know about anyone else but i find it almost impossible to see if a forum/topic has a new post in it.. the little flashing arrow is hard to see on my comp..
maybe if the icon was orange instead of blue when a new post came or something? just a suggestion...

thanks abc, i do appreciate feedback like this.
especially since i'm building the replacement for this forum from scratch. The graphics will be different and I will definately make new posts more detectable.

I was just kinda wondering, how all of a sudden I've become a usual activist, and not a mod.. Must be in my bashing of the eboard.. Altho I don't see why pointing out flaws, should reflect your status elsewhere..

we're just putting things back together after the rearrange. It wasnt on purpose, it should be fixed in a day or so

redhead: do you know how many posts you had before?
we had to drop some forums and stupid vbulletin takes off the post count for the users when you do this.

Can't remember... it was above 100, but I'm not that much into post counts.. eventualy I will get there anyway..
But that I can't login on the new codenewbie board, is annoying, now I've even tried a Konq browser, and it has the same flaw as my moz.. No cookie seems to get send..

that is strange redhead .. i'm not exactly sure why yet. bdl is using mozilla just fine.
i decided to just work on the other aspects of the new cn site cause i don't want to rush the forums and have problems like this. also so we can release the new look sooner.
i'm still going to be working on the forums, but i just think they will take some more time. i'll do some testing with my linux box today.

Well, it is strange. If I could troubleshoot it more from my side of the fence I would, but since it never seems to offer me any cookies, I have nothing that would benefit the investigation.
I could try and tcpdump my connection during a login attempt, but I doubt if that would reveal anything..
