tutorials suggestion

Ok, i'm new here (obvious after seeing my post count), and I like what you've got going on here.

I have a suggestion regarding tutorials; I think the admins (or even the community at large) should compile a list of tutorials they'd like to have for each language. Since all the languages listed in tutorials are imperative, the list could apply to almost all the languages. Something like:

-Dealing with Strings
-Dealing with lists/arrays
-Functions
-Classes
etc.

I'd be happy to write tutorials for the languages I know, i'd just like somebody to tell me what they want the tutorial(s) to cover

anyway, just a suggestion, carry on...

I think that's the right idea; covering the basics across all languages is, IMHO, in line with what the site is all about: giving help to those just learning or wanting to learn a programming language. Starting with concepts like data types, how to deal with strings / arrays / numeric values, operators and conditional statements, etc.

Since we've only got one Python tutorial, why don't you start with some 'basics' in Python? I've always been interested in that myself. ;-)
