Passwords revealed by sweet deal

More than 70% of people would reveal their computer password in exchange for a bar of chocolate, a survey has found.

It also showed that 34% of respondents volunteered their password when asked without even needing to be bribed.

A second survey found that 79% of people unwittingly gave away information that could be used to steal their identity when questioned.

Security firms predict that the lax security practices will fuel a British boom in online identity theft.

Security shock

I don't live in GB but in the Netherlands.
What I see is that more and more poeple buy a cheap schredder and schred paperwork wich might comprimise privacy. I suppose GB is no different.
Therefore, it might get harder for criminals to steal such documents. But loosers have a one track mind so no wonder they will resort to the internet. An obvious move when people are unaware, uninformed, naive or undisciplined.

What a coincedence, I just told a customer how important discipline is when using the internet.

You are willing to do good on the net, but such an attitude can't be the fundament of your way of thinking. Criminals and fast money makers won't let you.
That's what I said. Do you agree?
