Reliance on Microsoft products called 'risk to US national security'

At the recent Computer & Communications Industry Association's (link to CCIA) meetings in Washington, DC, a report was unveiled detailing the potential threat Microsoft products have towards US National security matters. Particular focus is on recent viral outbreaks that infected several Windows OS platforms on a worldwide scale, and how the massive scale of the proprietary Windows OS desktop may lead to further problems.
