Hey, i was wondering, what i would have to learn in order to make a addition to a game (Elder Scrolls 4) which is single player. I want to add a co-op feature which allows two users to connect Computers and play with each other. So basically i am trying to add a co-op mode to a single player game.

Any guidance would be helpful. I am very new to programming, and i would like to make this possible so me and my friend could play together.

The Elder Scrolls is depending on scripts which resembles BASIC structure, so I've decided to move this thread to a more appropriate forum.
