SSI XSSI Rollovers

I have 1 question: I have made some rollovers in image ready an dimported them to dreamweaver. I use them as included content SSI, but i cant get them to show the selected state when i follow the link. they always go back and show the normal state.

So my question is: is there any way that i can use XSSI to say if the url = this show show = this

so that everytime i go to a new page the include looks at the url and respond with a certain image (the selected)
