here is my latest progress ..

when i ping www.codenewbie.com,

it is obviously resolving the ip because the lines after that say:
[shell]# ping www.codenewbie.com
PING www.codenewbie.com(199.236.4.162): 56 data bytes[/shell]and then it just hangs.
