| When you do rm -rf / it can not delete every file, many files are in use, many libs are in use, etc. I believe you can probably delete vmlinuz or whatever kernel you're running, but it will not delete everything, I know somebody who was going to format his box, so he just did a rm -rf / on his OpenBSD box, and he could still reboot and boot up. (Seems weird though.. Wouldn't getty be gone?) |
