They even payed experimental languages like haskel to port it to .NET, aswell as the {loved|hated} Moscow ML..
Their strategy is to be a complete interface to every language used. Thus making it easy for programmers to create code for every architecture..
Personaly I think its a load of crap.. But thats just my oppinion.
