I've been recieving some messages from
Rod'N'Bob (
http://home.radiks.net/~robertm/index.html) they claim they run a ligitimate mailing list, but since I never joined I'm getting fed up with it..
Is this reply too drastic:

[snip off alot of spam]
Dir Rod'N'Bob,
Sorry to take these messures, but since I've recieved 8 messages from you
resembling spam within the last hour, I strongly suggest you to remove me
from what ever list you claim to send this to.
The addresses I recieve your mail through are:
<first@mail.address> and <second@mail.address>
Since I've _never_ submitted these addresses to any list what so ever from
your site, and the only place I have them posted is on my own site
[http://redhead.dk] I must assume that you have harvested these for the
purpus of spamming.
Should you how ever refuse to remove me from your so claimed list, I will
blacklist your sender IP (h216-170-009-009.adsl.navix.net) [216.170.9.9]
thus preventing any mail to my domain comming from your MTA relay.
aswell as filtering any mail with the Reply-to header containing
<robertlm@mindspring.com> in order to end this.
At the same time I will inform <uce@ftc.gov>, <haesslich@loyalty.org> and
<sness@fcc.gov> about your spamming attempt, with every header information
they need in order to take appropriate messure to end this.
Now I am a reasonable man, but since I do _not_ aprove the use of spam, I
feel the need to take these approriate actions.
Should you how ever run a legitimate list these messages are beeing send
to, I would surely hope we can find a more accurate solution for this.
I hope we can find a solution, where I will no longer be bothered by these
messages, the 350 messages I recieve from the linux kernel mailing list
every day, makes it up for what ever mail I need.
I'm looking forward to hearing what actions you think will be appropriate
in finding a solution to this problem.
Regards
Kenneth
