i have made electronic music for many years, and i work in the electronic music industry, so here is a few ideas.
one of the easiest ways to get your feet wet is to use Acid. no.. not that kind of acid, .. this kind: http://sonicfoundry.com/products/acidfamily.asp
it's a pretty good program to assemble loops together to make a song. they sell loop libraries, or you can use any loop that is a wav file. sonic foundry makes excellent products for windows because the guys who started it came from m$
acid is cool and all .. quickest way to start creating music, .. but on the other hand it doesn't take much skill other than installing and running the program. it does take a little creativity to get things sounding nice. |
Cool, Ill give it a try. I have tried Reason 2.5, but it was a little complicating. Anyways, Im going to get acid and check sf. The os doesnt matter but it would be nice if it was Linux based.
