| Who on earth, let alone the web, will want to wait for a 800x600 pic (or 1024x768) to load befor seeing the background on a page?
I guess all the modems should join forces in a union for less load.
I can see your site background is seperated into sections that can easily be cut and repeated where it's needed.
The top bar just need to be placed as background picture in different table sections, then the last one can be as wide as it will, since from the swirl it's the same color thats repeated.
The same thing goes for the 'site map' section, and you can keep a white background in the text part, so you wont end up with a repeat of the background for the site map. |
