thanks .. that reminds me .. i gotta add some meta tags to codenewbie . hehe. . .

all that is very accurate information .. unfortunately i hate heading tags for text .. it looks so ugly and so un-exact when sizing against other text and your site layout. perhaps there's a way around it , or maybe i just have to work with them more.

one thing i didn't see there is comments.  weigh up on search engines to.

the title of the webpage is also something that should be in your keywords ..

now the more places one word or phrase is, the better it will weigh . such as the title of my page is "my website" .. then i have the phrase "my website" in the keywords .. then i have  in the comments somewhere .. then i have a header font tag that is <h1>my website</h1> then i have a link with an alt image <img src="#" alt="my website"> .. etc... they like it to be in as many elements of your site as possible.

anyhow, .. nice topic .. maybe this should be a web development thread =)

thanks for tips on a great subject .. one that is often overlooked and one of which the power is under-estimated.
