Thanks for your input. My real problem was understanding the example program that the book shows, it didn't really need as much explaining as I thought, I just needed a little more time to analyze it myself. I also thought that because it was the first chapter it was going to be the easiest, but it does kind of thow you right into the language. Thanks.
