i don't know how it happens, but every once in a while, the $PATH gets all screwed up.

currently /sbin is unbound so i have to type: /sbin/ifconfig .. or /sbin/ before any sbin command.

how do i perminantly rebind /sbin to my $PATH ?

i tried: $PATH=$PATH:/sbin
but that didnt' work.
