A little late, but if you're still interested, White Box Linux works very well. You only have to do one thing differently at the start of the Oracle install. Starting with Oracle 10G, the installer actually checks to see if your operating system is on the certified list. If it isn't, you get an error message. You can include a commandline switch to ignore this. The command looks like: ./runInstaller -ignoreSysPrereqs
The only drawback is that I believe it also checks for other prerequisites like kernel parameter changes. Not a big deal if you follow the install instructions.

There are other RHEL clones out there as well. Centos, Taos, etc. Some are for sale or request a donation. White Box is both free and the most popular of the bunch.
