The only thing in C I don't fully understand is pointers (although I know you can pass them to functions to edit variables out-side there scope) I am learning to use DarkBasic currently, and from their I'll pick up the DarkBasic SDK, so I have to power of DarkBasic and the power of C/C++ all in one. Thanks though, because I still need to get the basics down I guess.

Btw, what compiler do you use? Mine seems rubbish... I doesn't compile anything given in tutorials etc.
