Howdy. I just turned 21 and am currently in a community college working on a general transfer degree after I found out the CS program I was in wouldn't transfer to most four year schools. I'm planning to major in CS again after I've got that finished, and I'm still taking a few programming classes along the way for fun. I've had a year of C and a year of C++ in high school but don't remember a whole lot of it, except that I got far enough to be able to program a text-based poker game. I've had a semester of pseudo-assembly stuff and learning how the hardware works and a semester of Perl, which seemed kinda worthless 'cause we didn't get near as far into it as we did in C. (I was able to slack off and do all 13 of the coding projects in the last 2 days of the class.)

Rock on.
